Painters Ric Rac has tiny picots of silver metallic woven in, prior to dyeing, giving the variegated colours a bit of sparkle. The metallics do not absorb the colour but get an antique look. This mellows the cold feeling of the silver and creates a very harmonious effect. It can be stitched through to apply, fused or glued, manipulated into flowers, etc., for a beautiful finish to any fibre or mixed media project. Rayon, 6mm wide, 5 metres per pack. |
