This thread is a heavily twisted thread made of a long staple, mercerised cotton.
The sheen is caused by the mercerising process and is enhanced by the high twist.
When using it you should always re-twist the thread to keep the sheen and the twisted structure.
Hand dyed, 100% Cotton Pearl Cotton 3.
