This workbook has three main sections:1) Making marks and drawing lines using the pencil and different brushes, so that you get used to the tools and drawing with mouse or tablet if you have one.
2) The theory of colour, learning the terms in common use, mixing colours and making gradients.
3) The principles of pattern, making a variety of all-over patterns, designing borders and making corners.
"Thank you for a very good magazine to go with the membership and the first Workbook is excellent! I did not have much idea of computer design when I first joined but have now gained in confidence due to your excellent teaching skills provided in the magazine and workbook. Thank you, and I look forward to receiving my next "lessons"
