Silk String
Pure silk string hand dyed in bright, full of depth colours. Between 9 and 11 yarns per hank, but generally 10 yarns. Each yarn 1 metre or more in length.
Use it in your silk paper making or add to any of your textile work.

Mayuri Silk Yarn
Luscious shimmering crunchy silk in 100 g hanks - ideal for textile projects of many kinds - hand spun and hand dyed in India.
Embellish fabric projects, wet or dry felting, knitting and weaving.
For washable projects it is important to pre-wash Mayuri in the skein to remove excess loose dye.
* 100% mulberry silk.
* 133m per 100g approx.
* Gauge: USA = Fingering, UK = 4ply, AUS/NZ = 4ply, 14 WPI approx.
* Gentle warm hand wash only, lay flat to dry, wash separately.
* Fourteen colours.

Silk Twist
Himalayan Recycled Silk Yarn
This yarn is made from remnant fibres from the silk weaving mills and from old silk saris. The fibres are shredded and respun by hand into this beautiful multi coloured yarn. The 100 gm skeins contain at least 80 metres of yarn, and price wise represents very good value indeed. Because there are no dyelots, no two skeins are exactly alike.

Silk Sari Twist
An absolutely delicious yarn, made from uncarded strips of sari fabric remnants. Suitable for knitting into bags, cords, wrapping, textile art, bowls, weaving and surface decoration.
The yarn is hand spun into gleaming hanks. Because it is hand spun, each hank is unique. As there are no dye lots, no two skeins are exactly alike. Skeins contain at least 50 metres of yarn, and cost wise represent very good value indeed.

Rangi Changi
A rayon version of the Silk Twist, quite similar to the Banana Twist we have had in stock. All the colours of India. Wonderful stuff!
The yarn is hand spun into gleaming hanks. Because it is hand spun, each hank is unique. As there are no dye lots, no two skeins are exactly alike. 100 g skeins are excellent value at approximately 65 metres of yarn.

Funky Felted Yarn
An extravagent yarn which has had five star attention, having been overdyed four times to achieve the subtle tonal changes which are background to brighter flecks of colour. Funky Felted is 45% wool and feels a little like felt but is very light, and can be used for knitting chunky but lightweight garments. It looks particularly stunning when used for weaving into fishnet.

Yummie
Similar to funky felted yarn but with a not as wide. Created from sheets of thin felting wool with bright polyamide running in different directions, and then felted. The yarn is double dyed with the wool base one set of colours and the bright top threads another. Knitting on large needles allows both sides to show. Amazing stuff!

Woven Wire Tube
A very fine wire woven in such a way that the tube can be shaped and distorted. It will hold its shape and is stable enought to create necklaces or to use in so many exciting ways. Thread things through it. If you don't like the effect, you can pull the tube length and it will return to its original shape. Flat width is 6mm.
